During the winter maintenance period, many loaders often encounter various problems such as antifreeze entering the engine oil, radiator leakage, and so on. In addition, it is necessary to replace the corresponding diesel and lubricating oil before entering the severe winter. Therefore, it is necessary to make adequate preparations before starting winter maintenance.
1、 There are two main objectives for selecting excellent antifreeze to measure antifreeze: first, the freezing point, which can reach - 40 ℃ for ordinary antifreeze, and - 60 ℃ for excellent antifreeze; The second is the boiling point, and the antifreeze should reach at least 108 ℃. The function of corrosion prevention and rust prevention is also very important, which directly affects the service life of the equipment cooling system. Also consider anti scaling. More than 65% of equipment cooling systems have scale and rust, which seriously affects the cooling system's heat dissipation function. Therefore, before replacing antifreeze, it is best to clean the scale and rust spots in the radiator before adding antifreeze. Generally, the antifreeze should be replaced once a year. After one year, the batch standards of the antifreeze have failed to meet the original maintenance requirements. Different types of antifreeze must not be mixed to prevent chemical reactions, deposition, or bubbles.
2、 After replacing the antifreeze, some equipment on the water pump showed an appearance of antifreeze in the engine oil. This is due to the aging and failure of the water seal of the water pump, resulting in the formation of antifreeze entering the smooth cavity through the water seal and eventually reaching the oil pan. Therefore, the oil level should be closely investigated after replacing antifreeze. If the oil level is found to be elevated, it is recommended to stop the machine and check, usually by replacing the water seal or pump assembly of the water pump. After correction, when the machine is idling at no load, use new engine oil to remove the remaining antifreeze that enters the engine's smooth system. Note: Shorten the gap time for the next oil replacement to ensure that the engine's smooth system performs normally.
3、 Cooling system anti-corrosion filter element Cooling system anti-corrosion filter element is rich in ion exchange resins, corrosion inhibitors, magnesium plates, and other additives, which can effectively protect relevant components. Ion exchange resins can prevent the formation of scale. The corrosion inhibitor can form an anti-corrosion film in the coolant jacket to prevent oxidation. Because magnesium has a stronger metal activity than iron, the corrosive ions in the coolant primarily react with the magnesium plate, which is useful in preventing iron from being corroded. Other anti-corrosion filter elements can also filter rust, scale, and sediment. The anti-corrosion filter element must be replaced at the same time as the antifreeze, and the anti-corrosion filter element should be replaced at the 1000th hour (engine operation time) to ensure that the anti-corrosion filter element has a useful protective effect.
4、 Fuel oil circuit protection (1) The normal selection of fuel oil should be based on the local temperature and the cold filtration point and freezing point of diesel fuel. (2) Protect the fuel oil circuit and completely clean the oil water separator: the surface is clean, check the pollution symbol, timely discharge impurities, and replace those that cannot be cleaned; Clean the diesel tank: remove the sediment from its bottom and clean it; Replace the nozzle with poor atomization; Verify the fuel injection pump in poor working condition to ensure normal operation.
5、 The selection of smooth oil should be based on the local temperature, in conjunction with the freezing point, pour point, and viscosity of the smooth oil to select an appropriate smooth oil. Smooth oils with high freezing points cannot be used at low temperatures. On the contrary, it is not necessary to use smooth oil with low freezing point in areas with high temperatures. The freezing point and pour point are both targets for low-temperature fluidity of smooth oils, and there is no standard sex for the two, with only slightly different measurement methods. The freezing point and pour point of the same smooth oil are not exactly the same, and usually the pour point is 2 – 3 ℃ higher than the freezing point.
6、 The "three leakage" repair, thermal expansion, and cold contraction images of the equipment are more prominent in the seals of the hydraulic system, gas path, and water path, especially the rubber O-ring, rectangular ring, and other seals. When the temperature continues to be lower than 0 ℃, the machine will exhibit signs of oil, gas, and water leakage, especially when the temperature continues to approach - 10 ℃. Before the equipment enters winter, it is necessary to fully repair the three leaks of the entire machine, and eliminate the three leaks and dangerous defects.
